For the first time in over 25 years, Project Learning Tree (PLTree), Project WET, and Project WILD are coming together for a joint conference! The 2024 conference will bring together over 200 thought leaders in environmental education to learn best practices, network, and increase the delivery of PLTree-WET-WILD programming in classrooms and communities across the country. 

The conference focuses on providing professional development for our Environmental Education leaders who collectively train thousands of educators annually with an estimated reach of over 2.5 million students each year; and is essential to growing and improving programming that connects young people to the outdoors.

Venue

The Westin Riverwalk is situated in the heart of the picturesque San Antonio riverwalk, surrounded by historic sites like The Alamo and the Majestic Theatre. 

The PLTree-WET-WILD discounted group room rate is $189 per night plus applicable taxes and fees (currently 18.75% combined). 

Please note the government-rate rooms are SOLD OUT.

The discounted group room rate is available until Monday, April 22, 2024, or whenever the room block sells out, whichever comes first.

Transportation

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute drive from the San Antonio International Airport. Attendees are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from the hotel/airport. We recommend a taxi or ride share service.

Cancellation Policies

Conference Registration
Cancellations received by Thursday, February 29 will receive a full refund. Beyond February 29, attendees must reach out to their PLT/WET/WILD program contact to request a refund based on specific extenuating circumstances such as illness, family emergency, travel cancellations, or other unforeseen circumstances that directly prevent attendance. Refunds after February 29 will be granted on a case-by-case basis.

Hotel Reservation 
A refundable deposit of one night's room, tax, and fees will taken at the time of your reservation. Refunds for hotel reservations are at the discretion of the Westin Riverwalk San Antonio, please find details on their policies on their website.
